Music production is complex, but at the same time inexplicably simple. I love growing with each project to be able to produce the songs that mysteriously already exist in my head.
My teaching exists to give you the knowledge that I wish I had known in the beginning. It enables you to develop your limitless potential as a creative person and not be held back by technology.
From music school to music producer: My ongoing path from lofi to neo soul
Hey, My name is Ellias-Carlos Meinel, born 1999 in Plauen - Saxony, Germany. As a child, I took two years of recorder lessons and five years of classical guitar lessons in my hometown without really enjoying them. It wasn't until years after I left music school in 2017 that I discovered my love for music with my new german hip-hop project „Solor-B“ with which I built beats in FL Studio. Even after switching to the DAW Studio One in 2020, I remained highly motivated during my sports science studies to use every free minute for music production. Since the founding of the team project „Lo-Fi Section“ produziere ich überwiegend Lo-Fi Hip-Hop, mit meinem guten Freund Yannick Schewe am Schlagzeug, während wir uns derzeit mehr In Richtung Neo Soul entwickeln. Derzeit findet man unsere Musik unter den beiden Alias „Snoozy Booth“ and „Ellias“. My goal is to publish music that triggers a positive emotional response in me and other people. To achieve this, I have been taking piano lessons since summer 2021 with Johannes Bigge and Since summer 2022 guitar lessons with Andreas Wendland. In addition to ear training with Friedemann Zhorel I have already passed the M1 and M2 music theory exams with Benjamin Richter an der Musikschule Leipzig „Johann Sebastian Bach“ abgelegt. 2024 is off to a good start with Jamuary with Mordrake, Mastering for Leander and productions for Loni Lila and Luc Allen sowie eigenen Songs.
