Lo-Fi Section

A team project founded by me in 2020, which pursues the goal of getting better at drawing and 3D design through common deadlines and weekly group feedback.

Our team currently consists of four graphic designers Patrick, Sophia, Pati, Clara and the computer scientist Lukas Hempel, who built this website together with Eric Wenzke also a computer scientist and website develepor.

I founded this project because I had the annual goal in 2021–2022 of producing at least 52 songs per year and needed art covers for the releases. The name “Lo-Fi Section” came from the original idea of building a website that would serve as a submission platform for an indie music label. A variety of characters were designed for this, as well as the Master (The Chameleon), which is our team's logo. Even though the website project was scrapped after its conception, the name has remained to this day.

The team has not only expanded over the years, but has also developed in a more holistic direction, as in addition to my lo-fi artist „Snoozy Booth“. Meanwhile complete animations for projects like „Ellias“ and all upcoming releases.

The Lo-Fi Section team complements my releases with stunning art covers and animations that are drawn and designed with great care and attention to detail, both digitally and traditionally.

I owe most of my success to my team and my aim is to reward each member appropriately for all the effort and time they put in.
