Im Jahr 2021 hatten mein guter Freund und Schlagzeuger Yannick and I were extremely lucky. After a long search for a suitable space, we found an ad from a private landlord on eBay, which enabled us to make our long-awaited dream come true... our first own recording studio.
We spent the first two months of the year converting the shabby nineteen square meter room in a remote building in Leipzig's Leutzsch district into our acoustically treated creative space.
Since then, we have mainly recorded drums, vocals and acoustic instruments there. However, the room is too small and too far away for a proper mixing reference, which is why we only use it for producing and recording.
Yannick Schewe’s Bio:
Yannick is an independent drummer and percussionist currently based in Leipzig, Germany.
At the age of three, his passion for drumming began when a good friend of his grandfather organized a guest appearance with his band for his grandfather's birthday.
Since then, there have been many milestones along the way as a budding drummer. From various school band projects to incredibly valuable and instructive times in musicals designed by children and young people to studio work on the "Lofi" genre with his good friend Ellias Meinel. In addition to live arrangements, studio work in particular has had a lasting influence on his current playing. Over the years, he has felt very comfortable in many musical styles, but especially in the areas of pop, rock, jazz/fusion and lofi.
